OY is a boutique oyster trading company that operates out of Tauranga, New Zealand. OY Premium Oysters are sourced from all over New Zealand – Northland, Coromandel and on occasion, Bluff! They are couriered overnight to Tauranga and delivered to you by either husband and wife duo Brigitte and Lew, their two daughter's Ashleigh and Brittany, or any other family members or friends that may be helping out!

Brigitte is the owner/operator and has been in the fishing and seafood industry for over twenty years working as a fish quota broker. Brigitte has a passion for the industry and strives to ensure we can all enjoy beautiful homegrown seafood.

The concept for OY was born late in 2015 and knowing she was on to something, Brigitte found and bought the OY food van you might see darting around Tauranga and Mount Maunganui, selling oysters straight from the box they are sent in.

Still in it's early stages of business, the future of OY looks full with opportunity. Brigitte and Lew are looking to participate in a myriad of events such as weddings, music and sporting events and private functions.
